The fact the city tries to save many of the present tress is a great idea and an asset to the city. When a few diseased trees were removed from in front of my house I just put my name on a list with the forestry department and the tress were replaced when young saplings became available. This is one of the great programs available to Quincy home owners.DAGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14685772539702013751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3028428963123598184.post-52411777372171721942009-05-20T11:05:39.246-04:002009-05-20T11:05:39.246-04:00Nice photo, but I think it makes the tree look fun...Nice photo, but I think it makes the tree look funny. It would save the workers time in the long run.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05183589319719480468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3028428963123598184.post-55216772855088253222009-05-20T09:25:31.770-04:002009-05-20T09:25:31.770-04:00I am entirely with you. It would be a wonderful national public works project.brattcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10382428477056833533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3028428963123598184.post-90273801576133332722009-05-20T07:29:04.760-04:002009-05-20T07:29:04.760-04:00I wonder why they pruned the tree that way since i...I wonder why they pruned the tree that way since in a wind storm the branch could still land on the wires. Makes for an interesting shot though. ;-)EG CameraGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12803759124643467711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3028428963123598184.post-32417028438994303332009-05-20T05:32:56.050-04:002009-05-20T05:32:56.050-04:00New housing around here has all the power and util...New housing around here has all the power and utility lines underground. A smart move. The rest of the neighborhoods hire Nazi butchers to decapitate trees to keep them from touching the lines.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
