The Quincy connection you ask ??? Architect Charles F. McKim worked earlier in his career for HH Richardson, the architect of Quincy's Thomas Crane Library.

The first commercial Valentine's Day greeting cards produced in the U.S. in the 1840s, were created by Esther A. Howland from Worcester Massachusetts, which is about an hour's drive from here. Enjoy!
