Frigid beach walk

These two braved the frigid temperatures and strong winds for a walk on Wollaston Beach. Below zero wind chills are not fun but these two seem to be weathering the walk just fine. If you enlarge the image you will see a mini sand storm racing by their feet. The houses across Quincy Bay are in the Squantum section of the city.

I love that photo. Love to see people walking their dogs on a beach. Up in Ogunquit you can see people riding their horses on the beach. A lovely sight.

They do look happy, don't they? Lovely place to walk. I hate wind tho - obviously not as tough as these two! I love photos of a place that includes people (and dogs) - somehow makes it all work.

The dog saw you! This is a lovely sight! (I just noticed Fenix wrote the same). Well done!

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
