Another cover of snow and cold are blanketing Quincy today. I captured this scene of an estuary in the Marina Bay area of Squantum a couple weeks ago. Many schools and businesses are closed today due to unsafe navigating.

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.

Days like this I appreciate Florida more than usual, but I still love Boston, lol.
Love this shot.
i used to live in Gardner MA for 2 years. Very cold there. I now live in the St Louis Metro area on the Illinois side.

Chilly to say the least. I bet you'll be glad when spring finally arrives!
Gorgeous winter photo!
Happened to check Blogs of Note, and the city Quincy caught my eye. I used to live in the high rise at Marina Bay, and had a boat at the marina too. Seeing all those pictures of Marina Bay brought back some good and fun memories. Thank you!
Very nice stuff.
A blanket of snow truly alters the landscape in a fantastic way, doesn't it? : )
