I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted this stretch limo outside the Family Dollar store on Hancock Street a couple days ago.

Many years ago I read that those most likely to redeem promotional checks (usually for some negligible sum sent in the mail as advertisement) are those with an annual income well above the national average. Perhaps that's how they can afford to ride in limos...
That's called irony, I think! Maybe they just won the lottery and can't break old habits?
