Thursday is "This Old House Day"
The Daniel W. Baxter house, located at 15-17 Phipps Street, is an example of an 1870s double Italianate style house. The detail work around the windows is worth a second look. I'm not a fan of the present color . . . too close to the blue of the sky. This must have been a grand house in its day.

I agree with you about the blue..but it is a lovely house.
What a beautiful house! It looks like one of those playhouses :) those perfect houses u have to play with when u are kid!:D
It's still pretty grand!
This house went from ugly to beautiful. It used to be run down and brown. I was glad this house got some attention. Even if it is the color of the sky.
A great shot of a great house, and I like the BLUE!:)
