The first of the month is "Theme Day" in the City Daily Photoblog Community that I belong to. The saltmarsh near Moswetuset Hummock provided the photo opportunity. These boat owners are waiting for the waters' edge to come back and float their boat which was moored out in Quincy Bay before the Superstorm Sandy relocated it. You may view more interpretations of today's theme HERE.
("This Old House" will resume next Thursday.)

That's so typically a "water's edge" picture, but not one that I had seen in the other theme day pictures. And a lovely one at that!
they've got a bit of a wait...nice photo!
Sandy was one gal with mega PMS!!!
What a terrific shot, Slim! At least the boat still looks seaworthy. Some are not. And I remember hurricanes in south Florida where boats were flung several blocks. Crazy!
This is a great shot. Very nice for theme day.
Nice shot, slim! Bet the boat owners are relieved that this is the extent of the damage to their craft!
Looks like the boat is still in good shape. LUCKY!
Love your choice for the theme day. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
Have a great month!
Oh, bummer. I hope they don't have to wait for another Sandy-sized storm to bring the water back!
I hope they know they are lucky and just a bit inconvenienced! That's a great photo.
