I would like to trade my shovel for a paddle right about now. We only have about 5 more months to wait until summer.
I really like how this paddler is lined up with the change in the blue tone of the water. Along the horizon you can see the island of Lanai to the left and Molokai to the right. Evening swimmers along these reefs can hear the song of the Pacific humpback whale swimming and cavorting in the distance.

Wow. When I see pictures like this I am always impressed. This one is nice to see and I wonder if the person in the boat has given any thought to how big a swim it is back to shore? Even big boats sink.
I remember being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and wondering how deep the ocean floor was? It would be a big step I thought.
This is a beautiful shot.
