
When I first got up today, my thermometer in Quincy, MA registered 0°F. At least there is no biting wind today. It's beginning to look more human-friendly to go out.

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.

Yikes, zero degrees seem pretty unfriendly to me....I'll stick with the climate in the San Francisco area right now. It is in the low 50's and I shiver when I go out at night with just a shawl thrown over my shoulders!
I am not a fan of this cold weather! :/
