Theme Day: Electricity
It's the first of the month once again in the City Daily Photo blogging community. My "theme day" image is a wind turbine from Quincy's water treatment plant on Deer Island in Boston Harbor. The wind turbines produce enough electricity to defray about $250,000 per year in energy costs. Enjoy checking out other interpretations:

i've never seen such a compact wind turbine. thanks for showing us this one.
I do like this style of wind turbine. You took a nice photo of it too.
Good one for theme day. I see why people have the NIMBY syndrome over them, though.
Love the renewable energy sources. I haven't ever seen one like this before.
It's a first for me too. Oh that blue!
It's really a great choice for the theme day. I love this phot, it's seem that the clouds are forming with the windmill.
That quite an impressive wind turbine! Great photo for today's theme day!
I don't recall ever seeing a ducted wind turbine before. Very neat interpretation of the theme! That kind of savings really adds up!
Nice! Beautiful colors and contrast in this photo!
