The eel grass in Quincy's estuaries turns to gold in the autumn.  I like the arched branch of berries in the foreground of this scene and the exploding cumulus clouds filling the autumn sky.

Oaken Carpet

The oak trees are some of the last deciduous trees to drop their leaves in the fall.  Oak leaves are weaving together a beautiful brown carpet for this couple to walk on in Merrymount Park.

Autumn Tones

It's interesting to see the colors of this maple tree in black and white tones.  Happy Monochrome Monday!  I'll post this image in splendid color later this week.

Sugar Coated

The maple leaves in my yard were skim coated with some frost this morning.  They look like sugar maples ;-)

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
