Thursday is "This Old House" Day

Today's prairie bungalow style house on Pope Street was built in 1918, for the tidy sum of $3000.  The fieldstone chimney, foundation and frontage work make this a very distinctive home in Quincy's Montclair section.

This sunflower patch, gone to seed, is located in the Montclair section of Quincy. You can see a hint of red fall color in the background. Fall is just getting started here.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone!

If you click and enlarge this photo you will see the Boston skyline in the distance. The antenna towers and buildings are in the State Street Office complex. This photo was taken from President's Golf Course in the Montclair section of the city.

Summer Attraction
