January Thaw

Wollaston Bay has thawed in just a couple days!  The next few 50+ degree days will transform this arctic scene once again.

Frozen Waves

The Arctic has an icy grip on Wollaston Bay.  The waves from storm Grayson look frozen in time.  Moon and Long Island are in the background.

Icing

The astronomical high tide accompanied by high winds and cold temperatures coated everything in its path at Wollaston Beach.

Outfall

One of the stormwater outfall pipes is being repaired on Wollaston Beach.  This pipe helps prevent some flooding from coastal storms.  The Quantum peninsula can be seen in the background.

After A Storm

This marker was washed ashore in some rough waters at Wollaston Beach.
