Frosted Trees
The Norway maples in my yard were lathered with snow this morning. The coating of white snow is a great contrast that brings out the wonderful texture and green color of the tree bark. Spring arrives next week!

Pruning has already been done on these conifer trees, thanks to the wind and a heavy snowfall this winter.

Looks Like A Tulip ...
smells like cucumbers ... grows over 100 feet tall . . .what is it?
The Liriodendron tree, commonly known as the Tulip Tree because the blossoms look a bit like the tulip plant. These exotic blossoms may be seen on two towering giant trees in the Mount Wollaston Cemetery. (Thanks for the tip, Sally!)
