Travel Tuesday: Boston Seaport District

The Seaport area of Boston is evolving into a very upscale urban landscape.  The Intercontinental hotel is one of the contemporary masterpieces of architecture in the area.  It is so much fun photographing this reflective surface . . . it's never the same.

You don't see too many dogs at the Museum of Fine Arts.  But I got to see double dogs at the recent Jaime Wyeth retrospective.  The service dog had eyes only for his master.  My dog, Daisy,  turns 5 today!

Travel Tuesday: Boston, Massachusetts

This 15 foot sculpture entitled, "science," graces the entrance to the Franklin Park Zoo. Sculptor, Daniel Chester French, originally created this and a companion piece for the top of Boston's old post office. It was moved to this location around 1930, when the post office was razed.

Summer In The City

Boston Waterfront is a short boat-ride from Quincy.  The sky helps to make this colorful summer scene.
