There are too many lives being snuffed out by senseless violence in the world.  So much sadness in the beautiful city of Paris.  This window display was taken during my last trip to Paris in 2011.

Travel Tuesday: Paris, France

The senseless violence that is happening in Paris and around the world evokes a great feeling of sadness.  "Night," a statue by the French Art Nouveau sculptor, Aristide Maillol, is located in Les Tuileries Gardens.  This work has taken on new meaning since I first encountered it.  May a new "day" dawn.
