Saturday night's game with the Pawtucket Red Sox was all about the pitching.  The Paw Sox won the outing.

I was sad to learn today that the "Paw Sox" (Red Sox AAA team) may be leaving family friendly McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket for new digs in Providence. Think baseball - think spring . . .

  McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket Rhode Island is home to the Boston Red Sox AAA team.  You can get your Cracker Jacks there and root, root, root for the home team!

The Boston Red Sox AAA team, the Paw Sox, play at McCoy Stadium which is about a 45 minute drive south of Quincy.  Compared with Fenway Park, McCoy Stadium offers professional level baseball in an intimate, family-friendly setting at affordable prices.  This image was captured with my new Lumix LX-7 using a creative setting which gives the image an HDR look.

Friday Night Lights

Rain delayed Friday's Pawtucket Red Sox game but we were rewarded with this beautiful sunset.

The Boston Red Sox have finished their season and the plans to build a mini Fenway Park in Quincy will have to wait until next baseball season as well.
