January thaw

The "January thaw" is evident on Sailor's Home Pond on Rice Road. The city opens the gates for ice skating when the ice is 4 inches thick . . . guess I have some time to sharpen my skates before the next skating session begins.

I guess you better wait till next year for skating. Here it was like spring today, wtf?
