Snowy lantern

Quincy looks as though it was hit by giant spray painting gun. It's unusual for the snow to stay stuck on things for more than a day. We're going on day 4!

I know that you may tire of it, but we get so little snow here that I find it so lovely! Beautiful photo today.

But it is so prrrrrretty! Like Clarice said.

BTW, I am confused: who is "Slim"? I thought it was the same person as the one posting for "Clueless in Boston". Hmm.

The way the light hits it makes it look as if the middle glass panel were missing.

Snow is always magical for a person coming from a country with 365 days of just sun and rain.

How beautiful.. somehow it reminds me of a scene from the movie - Narnia.

It's always nice to for a winter promenade after a snow fall. Hope you get a day with a blue sky, that will make for fantastic photos!

Thanks everybody for your comments. 365 days of sunny weather sure does sound great right about now.

Eliane, "Slim" is my better half and team mate on the Quincy blog.

Glad you cleared that up, Jim. After reading the comments on my latest posts I was beginning to think you had developed a split personality disorder! >8D

Or Cool Whip. I guess it's too perfect, for whipped cream. But I prefer whipped cream any day. :-)

Is everyone hungry now???????????

Anyone have a cherry for the top? Whipped cream also came into my mind but I'm trying to live up to my name . . .
Thanks for all your comments.

Fenix- I thought the middle panel was missing as well .. . I should go back and have another look . . .

I can hardly remember what snow looks like it's that long since we had any!

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
