Nice photo. Why are the docks empty?
My guess is the average winter temp of 20-40 degrees F makes for nonpleasurable boating. Most marinas around Quincy are too shallow for commercial vessels and remove the docks to the land for the winter months.
Yea. Everyone I know who has a boat around here takes their boat out of the water for winter...
Cool shot, though. Again, I can't wait for summer when the Clam Box is open. LOL.
Nice shot. I had no idea Quincy had that much of a coast line.
The picture is bright and contrasty but it is really wonderful on the larger format where you can feel the quietness, the peace of the place. I definitely like the light.
