All is quiet at the Quincy Yacht Club located in the Houghs Neck section. It was founded in 1874, and is one of the oldest yacht clubs in the country. Located on one of Quincy's peninsulas, Houghs Neck became a popular summer spot for fishermen and tourists in the 1800s.

What a terrific photo that is! I'll stop by the Yacht Club, next time I'm in Quincy. Lovely.
What a picturesque place...your area is very lovely.
You've got a gorgeous photo of an obviously beloved place. Thank you.
That's a great photo! I love the red, too.
Awesome photo! Great color.
LOVE IT! An acquaintance from college used to bartend here in the summers, so we would stop by for drinks and hang out on the docks after the YC had closed. Great memories, thanks for the photo!
I'm glad you all stopped by today. I think this place is worth a visit in peak season . . . gin and tonic on the dock anyone?
Cowbark - What a special place to hang out at with a college friend. It doesn't get much better than that.
That Yacht Club looks very New Englandish!
Fabulous photo! It's like a postcard. I love the strong contrast between the red building and the bright blue sky. Very nicely done!
