Sunday is For Church

The Union Congregational Church, on Rawson Road was built in 1911, in a simple Gothic Revival style using random granite blocks. It is bereft of a tower, but does have a simple bell cote on the front. I like the miniature white church on the side lot located a few blocks up from Wollaston Beach.

This looks like the kind of Churches I would see growing up, usually in the middle of a neighborhood.

Awesome .. you have all the nice churches in Quincy! What's the deal with the little church on the side?

This one is quite beautiful. The first thing I noticed was the smaller white chapel...I wonder what it is used for?

Lovely and quaint, particularly the little white church in the yard.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
