Thursday is "This Old House Day"

Every week day, thousands of cars drive past this handsome brick Tudor-style residence on Sea Street and Quincy Shore Drive on their commute to Boston. The grounds are impeccably maintained with a special seasonal displays. I especially like the multi-colored slate roof.

The roof is indeed interesting! I like the weather vane.

This is a lovely old home which has so much more character than the tech school posted two days back. That one leaves my quite cold.

Thanks for you visits and comments!

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
