Wednesday Doorway

Teasing is over . . . this is the stable that supports the weather vane I posted yesterday. The details of this 1873 carriage house are lovely especially the slate roof. It is located on the Adams National Historic site on Adams Street, of course.

From yesterday picture, I would never have guessed/ I thought it would have been a much taller building. But I do like it. Very nice.

It wasn't what I imagined, but it looks a building that suits the windvain!

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
