Thursday is "This Old House Day"

This colonial Revival house is located at 126 Grandview Avenue on Wollaston Hill. I like the windows with the diagonal transoms. I also like the Alaskan flag which I learned was designed by a 13 year-old and the only one I've ever seen flying in Quincy!

I had the same kind of upper windows in my old house... I agree with you they are beautiful...BUT what a headache to clean!!!!
Unless like in the old days somebody is doing it for you!!

I know the owners of this house, very nice home inside too. The husband is a flag collector and flies various ones. Drive by to see which one is flying today.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
