This sign is displayed outside a new "watering hole" at Marina Bay. Do you think bathing suits are allowed? This is my choice for July's Theme Day.

What a riot! Nearly everything is banned in this Boston establishment.Does that mean that I can't wear a tank top or that men can't. . .or both?
For a second I thought that one word read "DRAG," as if forbidding it. Out hear we spell it DOO RAG rather than DURAG. Sounds to me like some youth culture/racial discrimination going on. Great post!

Hi,
The bees are back in Brookville, Ohio. I hope for the rest of the year at least. I even got one on my Better Blog Writing post today. LOL
I see you found an adorable No sign. This is one of the funnies.
Isn't it almost funny to think of adult people scurrying around their communities taking pictures of signs. And if somebody had asked what that is all about and you said a sign with "no" on it, they might... well. It is kind of funny.

Wow! dictates on the clothes one wants to wear... hmmm and I thought only third world countries like ours did that..
Great sign :-)
No hats???
Good catch.
I saw this on the portal and just have to share this: We took our son to a bar/restaurant the other day, and they had a sign that read: "No sleeveless attire."
Now, I ask this. . . .In the summer, I wear sleeveless blouses at times. . . .Does that mean I can't wear one in there even if it has a collar? I guess I can understand tank tops. . . .but I can't, either. When did they start making these 'no sleeveless' rules?
Your comments make the rebel in me want to test this policy out . . . tank tops on women are de rigueur!
kim- the correct spelling according to dictionary.com is: "dorag"! and yes, another case of "Banned in Boston" or neighboring Quincy .
I agree with Kim, the sign does seem to be rather explicitly targeting certain racial / youth groups. A very interesting choice for theme day :) Happy theme day.
Sorry, I can come in, I always swim with my hat and my work shoes...Great find!
Boy, they're strict!
Good Lord, you're right! They need to add "No Nudity" to the list or something. Nice photo!
Happy Theme Day!
Whatever happened to the good old "no shirts, no shoes, no service" signs? There's a restaurant somewhere near Sacramento that would famously cut of men's ties if they wore them in, then hang the remnants on the walls and ceiling.
Very funny! That is a long list of NO's! Great post for the Theme :)
Looks like you found another No Fun Zone!
It looks like naked is ok too;))
Cool photo; I like the black and white contrast. I don't think I have ever seen the word durag on a sign before! :-) BTW, thanks for commenting on my blog as well; to answer your question, I have 8 DPs -- you can visit each of them from the main HamptonRoadsDailyPhoto .com page.
Im surprised that swimming is even allowed!
Goodness what DO people wear? Makes the mind boggle. Great choice for today.
That place is kinda bummin'.
