Sunbrella

This was taken during the recent heat spell at high noon. I'm looking out from the Wollaston Train platform through the chain link fence at the mom and little girl crossing the parking lot. I like the contrast of the mom and little girl. I also like the way the little girl is holding onto her mom's bag.

The diamond shadows of the fence do add rather than detract, which is very unusual. Lovley portrait image, balnce of light and shade spot on and the composition of the "sunbrella" holder just right. Perfectly titled too. Excellent all round then.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
