Believe it or not, but if my memory serves me correct, the theater in downtown Hinton, West Virginia looks like this and I wonder if the same person made it too.

Knowing that Arthur Chandler has died and expecting changes at this site I snapped a picture of the marquee last week from the other side (seems Slim we are going shot for shot!) It's kind of sad knowing that it will probably never be the 'Wolly Theater' again. Had hoped the city would grab it up for a cultural center but I don't think the economic times would have it!

Wow, that's cheap. I should buy it and turn it into a condo/art studio/gallery! That would be the coolest! (in my dreams!)

I remember bringing my sons and other neighborhood kids to the weekly $1 Monday night movie. The Wolly Theater was so amazing inside. I do hope that someone restores it to its former glory.

I would love to see this place converted into a cinema much like the one in West Newton. You're right though about needing deep pockets.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
