Quarry climber

I found it fascinating to watch this rock climber puzzle her way up the quarry face near Granite Links Golf Club. It looks like a great sport for mind and body . . . unfortunately, not mine. Quincy was one of the first places in the U.S. where crag climbing was used for mountaineering practice. Today's longest climb is 50 ft. due to the fact that the quarry holes have been filled in with dirt from "The Big Dig" project in nearby Boston.

You have caught the light well on your climber. Nice image ...

I have looked through some of your other images. I like the fire hydrant collage. I like the image of your ballot for President and the serenity of the Lincoln Avenue the next morning. I also like the Thursday Old House series.

I have not visited prior to now but will add you to my list if I may.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
