Beautiful shot, Slim.
Very interesting to compare the spire with and without snow. Frankly both are beautiful. Lovely shot.
I just saw a church that looked very much like this one but there was no snow. I like snow when it is in someone's yard but not on mine.
Gorgeous shot!
wow, this shot enlarged is absolutely killer! And I like the title too. what camera/lens?
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments. Ken- this was shot with a Nikon D40 at 1/100; f14; using the kit lens at 20mm. I'm glad you like it.
Great photo. I was looking at a photography magazine at the newsagents and it had an article on how to take snowy scenes. Your photo is much better than the ones they showed!
You're so kind, Marley. I'm sure those photos probably lost some detail in the printing process. I have my dearest, "Clueless IB", to thank for bringing me along in the post processing area. I've started working with the NEFs and it makes a difference in the final result.
Ya know, I never think of Quincy as being a pretty place, but I guess from the right angle, it can be quite scenic. Thanks for the memories of home.... If you get a chance, I have two blogs, one of which is a photo blog. If you have time, check 'em out.
