I ride the Ashmont line and I still haven't seen a single one of these! I wonder if they're only running on the Braintree trains?
HATE these cars! maybe if I wasn't pregnant or suffere from motion sickness it would be a different story.

back home,it would be impractical in the philippines to have train cars without seats,the first thing that commuters want is a seat.
Interesting way to solve the problem. I may be open to that more than having a bus just pass me up as it often does in Pittsburgh.
That seems horrible since you have to stand regardless of if it is "over crowed or not. Yikes.
Wow... I guess I've been away from home for too long.. I had no idea.... wish they would just run more trains. I'm living in Korea now, and the train comes ever 1-5 minutes. Makes standing around for 15 mins on a sunday for the red line seem like some backwards civilization...
