Wealth

Oranges are a Chinese New Year symbol of wealth for the coming year. I guess we can all hope . . .

Nice photo. It sure makes the oranges look nice. We eat more now than we ever did. I don't know why. Is that the same with you?

Yes, Abraham . . . that is the same with me. I guess I think about the vitamin C benefits and they usually taste so good.

Great photo! I eat a lot of oranges too so I'm hoping the recent freezes down here don't cause the price of citrus to go up! Thanks for visiting my blog and also for your nice comments!

very nice and fresh photo! I am glad you liked the crystal bottle stoppers. Your talent in making glass trinkets is admirable. Yes, you could make something like the ones I photographed. Thanks for stopping by my website. I am enjoying your photos also.

Nice picture! The Oranges look so fresh. By the way these are Navel oranges sure they are loaded with Vitamin C, good for building your immunity against the flu. Oh ya these Navel Oranges are not the type to symbolize Chinese New Year. For CNY we use Mandarin Oranges.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
