Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

Temperatures can be very changeable this time of year here. It can be 60F one day and 25F the next or even within hours. This frozen pond on the Adams National Historic Park site was captured about a week ago and is probably in liquid form today. The white structure in the background will be fitted soon with glass and plants. I really like the way the ice on the pond looks in this light. I will post something more springlike tomorrow.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
