I have to say that I would feel sheepish about standing on the T with TP (lol)
Walker Evans did an amazing series of people on the subway. This reminds me so much of his work.
I grew up in the N.Quincy area but moved away to a rural section of N. New York. Although sometimes I feel slightly homesick, it never ceases to amaze me that when I return "home" for a visit and ride the T, people avoid eye contact and ignore each other even when something a bit strange is occurring on the train. I, being an avid people watcher become entranced at whatever drama is unfolding. I'd probably be the one who would comment to the lady and say something humorous but innocuous about her large wad of tp.
great shot, like the tube in London.
love the picture, but these do not look like happy people... =)
Great photograph but they all looked like stuffed dummies :o)
Jackie xx

nice, i love train shots, and of course people shots
A nice black & white photo. This suits best with the dull atmosphereand seemingly a bit weird scene.
