Springtime at "Peacefield"

Springtime is very peaceful in the orchard behind the Adams Mansion. also appropriately named "Peacefield."

Are those Crocus? It is the way flowers should be planted but few are. I like fields of wildflower mixes but so few are found. I really like your photos. Thanks too for your visit.

I hate to use a photography cliche but the spiring crocus against the bare winter tree is great "juxtaposition."

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
