Floor by floor

This iron worker is slicing corrugated metal flooring for the new wing of Quincy High School.

I have no head for heights, don't know how these guys do it. Good shot, I like the colour against the grey of the steel.

i too really like all of the color that is embodied in the worker and his hat and shirt against the metal
i could NOT do what he does for a living
i could probably get over it, though, if it meant starving

I, too, love the contrast between this colorful worker and the gray steel behind him, but I also love how all that is human in this photograph is soft and rounded and curved and the building is all straight lines and sharp angles.
