A very atmospheric shot. Don't take this the wrong way; I viewed it in large and it is almost a shame that the bird is there as it kept drawing my eye away from the boat. However, a really nice shot.

John- thank you for sharing your observation. I think you might be right . . . the bird competes with the main focal point, the boat. The interesting thing is that I didn't even see the bird when capturing the foggy image on my Lumix, because it was too bright to see my LCD . . . but therein lies the magic of photoshop.
