Foggy Creek

Fog rolled into Black's Creek late yesterday afternoon and cooled everything in its path, including me :)

A very atmospheric shot. Don't take this the wrong way; I viewed it in large and it is almost a shame that the bird is there as it kept drawing my eye away from the boat. However, a really nice shot.

Hey! I've been following your blog, for a while now, but I think this is the first time I comment. This had to be by far one of the most beautiful pictures you post... Kudos, and keep up the awesome blog...

John- thank you for sharing your observation. I think you might be right . . . the bird competes with the main focal point, the boat. The interesting thing is that I didn't even see the bird when capturing the foggy image on my Lumix, because it was too bright to see my LCD . . . but therein lies the magic of photoshop.

Haha. I posted about the fog on Twitter. I saw a couple of herons in the foggy grasses across from Wollaston beach!

Absolutely beautiful! Also like the new white framing.

Thank you so much for your congratulations, Slim! :-)

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
