They are both excellent images.
I like the colour for the colour, rather than anything else; I prefer the b&w as it has the shapes and I think it projects the building site atmosphere better.

Both photos are excellent. The color features design elements that make it very strong and color works well. The black and white is very different and you have a spectrum of grays. The sky is perfect. I like them equally.
