Thursday is "This Old House" Day

This is one of my favorite bungalows located on Elm Avenue in the Wollaston section. It was built in 1900 and has wonderful character for a small house. I especially like the stone work.

What a beautiful bungalow. Love those multi-paned windows. And the stone work. Why are those such aesthetically pleasing details?

I always think of a bungalow as small; this doesn't look small. The porch and the stone make it! Lovely house!

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
