These fishing buddies are catching crabs which they will use to catch bigger fish later. There's lots of good fishing to be had along Quincy's 26 miles of ocean front.

Crabs as bait — isn't that difficult? They might pinch!
Love this shot. It looks as if it was a bit windy. Brrr. Their feet must have been cold.
When we left the area, it was banned from fishing/crabbing because of the pollution. I am glad to see it is cleaned up now!
Looks like a hard job - catch a crab then catch a fish! To much effort for me! lol :)
After so long I had not realized Quincy was on the Ocean!!
I love crabs...to eat, not to catch fish. Or steamers....I know you have wonderful ones in your part of the world. I remember, when we were stationed at Hanscom Field, in Concord, we'd rent a plane from the aeroclub and fly to Hyannis for a meal at Mildred's Chowder House, a great seafood stew, steamers and the like. I still remember, tummy growling, 38 years later.
