Green Garage

I like the textures and colors of this well-seasoned garage and shed in West Quincy. The tire adds the finishing touch.

What a great old place, the fact that the two sides we can see are in different paint colours, albeit faded, really adds to it. Looks like you've been walking in some flaky places.

I may need to rethink my photo presentation. Your photos look so majestic and IMPORTANT with this mat border-- even the green garage!

Yes, I can see why this called to you. Such a rich visual landscape of color, texture, decay. I wouldn't have been able to resist it, either.

Slim, do you have any pictures of the old Hat Rack? I'm dying to write an article about that place, but can't dig up any photographs.

Great picture, by the way. As usual.

I like your term, "well-seasoned." Yes, it is that. But a delightful photo of an interesting subject!

I'm not sure I would put my car in there, especially in a n'oreaster.
But it certainly is a wonderful photo...as all of your shots are.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
