Quincy citizens voted yesterday to keep Mayor Koch in place for another term. This campaign boat (enlarge to see) was anchored at Squantum Yacht Club yesterday where thousands of cars pass by on their way to work.

Good or bad? We get a European President and no vote in the matter; I guess democracy isn't all it's cracked up to be.
This is really a fine shot! I have a friend who shares the same last name. He'd love this, I think.
The title of this post was my feeble attempt to be clever and try a rhyme. I do like the manner in which Mayor Koch has conducted himself as a leader in this fine city.

I think my dad would have approved the new design of his beloved yacht club. Still somewhat recognizable. Spent many childhood summers there in the 50s and 60's......but I often whined that I'd rather be at the barn. Any pictures of Blue Hill Riding Academy? (629 Willard St.)
