People started lining up at the Deli counter before 9:00am today in anticipation of tonight's snow storm. Ever since the "Blizzard of 1978" milk, bread and toilet paper get wiped off the shelves before an anticipated snowstorm.

I would definitely want toilet paper...the others wouldn't be as important as that! I might get a few other things I like better than milk and bread.
I see that we prefer the same supermarket.
You're right about the shopping habits of people in this area. Since the Blizzard of '78' everyone stocks up like crazy.
Good 'Deli' shot.
I like this 'slice' of life image.
Enjoy the white stuff! Up here we're gettin' nuttin'! I love it, for a change.
I remember the Blizzard of 78. My parents sent me pictures of Wollaston. Wow! I had just moved to Culver, Indiana in October. We got walloped by that storm too. I remember trudging two blocks to the store in 18 inches of snow to get a pack of cigarettes...........thankfully, I quit smoking since then! Hope your winter storm today isn't too bad. I will look forward to your snow pics.
