The South Shore Plaza in neighboring Braintree, is the closest indoor shopping mall containing 1,166,000 sq ft of retail space including a food court. Constructed in 1961, it once boasted being New England's largest shopping mall. It was originally opened as an open air shopping plaza but as you can see in this image it is presently enclosed. The recession has forced some businesses there to close but the mall management does a good job disguising the empty storefronts.

It is sad how much the recession is affecting all of us!
My father tells me that this mall stole Sears and Miltons from our beloved City of Presidents.
I like this angle. This is generally how I feel in a shopping mall.
I was there yesterday. I have been going to the Apple store a lot since I got my new 'puter. My only problem with that is that it's right across from Victoria's Secret. LOL
I like this angle.
