Thursday is "This Old House Day"

This vibrantly colored house may require sunglasses to view. It is unusual to see brightly painted houses in Quincy. Most of the wooden shingled houses are white. Built in 1877, this house is located at 81 Granger Street. I like the pole light transformed for a bit of whimsy and maybe an omen of snowy weather coming this way.

Well it certainly stands out, especially with that vibrant colour against the sky. Wonder if the neighbours mind.

I was going to say love to have it next door to me John! What imagination to paint a house like that.

This house and that sky for some reason make me want sherbet.

We have ONE colorful road in Stavanger, and could do with a few more....
Why not ad color to life?

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
