Theme Day: Reflection

First of the month and it's "theme day" in the City Daily Photo community. This reflection is of the Hancock Park nursing and assisted living facility taken after a shower across the street on a rooftop parking lot.

So well composed, Slim. The reflection reveals parts of the building unseen in the actual shot.

I love how you can see more of the building in the reflection than in the image itself... I like the clock in the rainwater a lot...

Paperama ? , dam I must be old I remember when the store was Raymonds. There were were so many major stores in Quincy when I was a lad. Sears, Raymonds, Miltons, Remicks, Woolworths and more. All before the South Shore Mall, before the mall was even enclosed. Now our Town Fathers are tearing down about 1/3 of the retail space for a road. That sure helps the tax base.

Dag & Beak-
What about Gilchrists and Sheridans and Sears? The candy and nut counter at Sears was probably my personal favorite.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
