October Theme Day: Graffiti

There isn't an abundance of graffiti in Quincy. I spotted this unspectacular graffiti on the remnants of an old pier in the Marina Bay area. That red brick building across the bay is the University of Massachusetts, Boston campus, and to the far right of it is the JFK Presidential Library.

You can see some great examples of graffiti from around the world by Clicking here to view thumbnails for all participants

I wonder why Quincy has remained so clear of graffiti. Hmmm.

I really like the echo of horizontals in this image and how each is a reflection of human fingerprint on the landscape.

Slim,

As you know Quincy is very active on the graffiti removal issue. There have been times when I have spotted some graffiti and in a day or two it's gone.
The city deserves kudos for their work on appearance issues.

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
