Thursday is "This Old House Day"

This 1860 house located at 80 Prospect Avenue, is one of the first houses to be built on Wollaston Hill or what was then known then as Wollaston Heights. This house still has it's slate roof and some of the period details intact. I like the roof line and I bet that side porch is a great place to read on a warmer day.

Great house. . .I'd love to see inside . . .

This is a great old home. I like the roof line too. It's different. Not so "typical New England."

I like the angle of the photo and what a house of memories that must be.

Summer Attraction

This tiger swallowtail butterfly was a delight to see pollinating the phlox bed along my driveway.
