Thursday is "This Old House Day"
This 1880 house at 101 Beach Street is situated on land that was once owned by Edmund Quincy and was considered some of the best farmland in New England. It is situated around the corner from the Josiah Quincy House. The porches are magnificent, particularly with the big granite blocks at the base of the columns.
