Historic Knoll

Moswetuset Hummock, the wooded mound in the background, was the seat of the ruling American Indian chief, Chickatawbut, in the 1600s. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts got its name from Moswetuset. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

That spot has deep sentimental meaning for me - it's where my husband and I took our coffee and bagels and sat together for a last quiet moment before the excitement of our wedding began. :)

Summer Attraction
